Founding Cloud Software Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a founding cloud software engineer, with experience contributing across the rest
of the stack, who wants to help shape the future of underwriters and our company. As a founding
engineer you will:
● Work directly with our founding team.
● Talk to internal / external stakeholders often and ship features they care about, wherever
they are in the stack.
● Build out our microservices architecture.
● Support the usage and deployment of commercial, open source, and proprietary machine
learning models.
● Support the team in achieving SOC 2 compliance.
● Build out our engineering team, alongside our Tech Lead.
● Participate in the strategy and product ideation session, influencing our product roadmap.

We expect our engineers to be low-ego, open-minded, problem-solver and excited about the
product
We should be focused on delivery, committing code on a day to day basis, using best software
engineering practices.
