Our Team:
The Audio Cloud Technology team is a newly established group, created to lead Bauer
Media Audio’s pivotal transition from on-premises broadcast systems to cloud-based
infrastructure. As the Head of Audio Cloud Systems, you will have strategic oversight in
building and shaping this team from the ground up. You will play a key role by
collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Team in hiring the right talent and establishing
the processes needed to deliver a resilient, scalable, and future-proofed cloud platform.
This platform will support both traditional radio broadcasting and digital audio streaming,
ensuring Bauer continues to lead the way in commercial audio broadcasting across
multiple regions.

The Main Focus of the Role:
As the Head of Audio Cloud Systems, you will lead the transformation of Bauer Media
Audio’s broadcast systems to the cloud, ensuring a smooth migration and the ongoing
operation of the cloud environment. This role requires a leader with deep knowledge of
broadcasting systems and an understanding of cloud technologies, who can bridge both
worlds to deliver a reliable, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will lead a
small, dynamic team and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to
support Bauer’s evolving audio operations

Key Responsibilities:
 Lead the end-to-end migration of Bauer’s on-premises broadcasting systems to
the cloud, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
 Collaborate with internal teams (cloud, architecture, and security) to deliver a
secure and high-performing cloud platform tailored to audio broadcasting needs.
 Manage key relationships with broadcast technology suppliers, steering the
adoption of cloud-based solutions.
 Oversee the day-to-day operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of
the cloud-based audio systems, ensuring they meet performance and availability
targets.
 Provide leadership and mentorship to the Audio Cloud team, encouraging
development and fostering a collaborative team culture.

What We Are Looking For:
 Essential Skills:
o Extensive experience leading technology teams, ideally with experience in
the broadcasting or audio industry.
o Demonstrable experience in migrating on-premises broadcasting systems
to cloud platforms.
o Strong understanding of audio broadcasting technologies, combined with
exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
o Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work
cross-functionally and manage external partnerships.
o Experience in service management, ensuring cloud systems meet
operational and business needs.
