Junior Workplace Developer

About the role

As a Junior Workplace Developer, you will develop internal applications to support key business functions. You will create and design the UX (user experience), develop and test mobile applications.

You will develop our internal applications to support various key business functions and work on our mobile applications and integrations. Working closely with the existing building management software you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to capture requirements, create and design the UX (user experience), develop and test mobile applications managing them through the software delivery lifecycle.

In this role it is critical that you identify and anticipate changes in technology that may have either a positive or negative impact and offer alternate / future solutions to consider and adopt.

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who will operate with a sense of urgency, whilst demonstrating flexibility and openness to learning new and exciting technology skills. The role demands high levels of trust, confidence and professionalism at all times.

An on-site presence and travelling to other locations will be required.

Key skills

• Experience in developing applications for Apple iOS devices with Xcode.
• Experience in Swift and/or Swift UI
• Linux and Golang server experience
• Integration with 3^rd party web services and APIs.
• Continuous development and integration.
• Code management and version control.
• Strong Knowledge of application development technologies both native and hybrid.
•  Possess good communications skills and able to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Able to work independently and part of a wider team.
• Degree Qualified.

Day to day responsibilties 

•          Software development of iOS applications.
•         Design of applications using native features.
•         Full end to end life cycle management.
•          Quality assurance and testing of the internal applications.
•          Software release and management.
•          Troubleshooting and Application Support.
• Keep up to date with latest industry trends.
