Our Team:
The Audio Cloud Technology team at Bauer Media Audio is responsible for transforming
on-premise broadcast systems into cloud-based solutions. Our mission is to provide a
scalable, secure, and future-proof cloud infrastructure that supports both traditional
broadcast and digital audio streaming. We work with cutting-edge technologies to create
seamless, integrated systems that span Bauer Media’s audio operations across multiple
countries.
The Main Focus of the Role:
As an Audio Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in the migration of Bauer Media’s
broadcast systems to the cloud. You will collaborate with internal teams and external
vendors to design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring that it is
reliable, scalable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the migration of on-premise broadcast systems to cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Work with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy and
manage cloud-based applications.
Collaborate with the Group Technology Cloud team to ensure cloud infrastructure
meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Implement DevOps practices such as continuous integration (CI) and continuous
delivery (CD) to streamline cloud operations.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud system performance to ensure seamless
broadcasting operations.
Provide support and maintenance for cloud-based systems, ensuring high
availability and reliability.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills:
o 3-5 years of experience working in cloud environments, with hands-on
knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
o Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and
Kubernetes.
o Experience in DevOps practices, particularly CI/CD pipelines and
automated deployment.
o Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud-based
environments.
o Familiarity with broadcast systems and technologies is a plus but not
required.
