Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python (Django/DRF)
• Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs
• Work with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server) including schema design and query optimization
• Integrate third-party systems, APIs, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SAML, LDAP/Active Directory)
• Implement security best practices in line with NIST guidelines
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code (unit tests, CI/CD pipelines)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, Product)

• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve performance of backend applications

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Solid experience with Django, Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORMs
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus
• Solid programming skills in Python
• Proficiency in Git / GitHub / GitLab / Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to front-end frameworks (React/Angular) is a plus
