AUTOSAR Software Update Receiver Component

WHAT TO EXPECT

This position is for Software Update Receiver Component a within JLR  Software Development ADAS team, delivering the software platform for our next generation vehicle architecture this include the definition, configuration and integration and testing of AUTOSAR  Software components – for classic frameworks. You will work with team of System, Architecture, Hardware, Software and Controls Engineers, to deliver concept and production systems in a timely manner, according to vehicle programme timing and local delivery milestones, whilst overseeing issue investigation and ECU diagnosis.

This role bridges the technological and business worlds in designing the vehicles our customers have come to expect. This is great opportunity for motivated and experienced engineer, where you will have a chance to develop of production software development and delivery through all stages of the engineering development V cycle regarding software artefacts, requirements cascade, design, implementation, validation, and verification in an AUTOSAR compliant framework. 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Management of functional and non-functional requirements for the assigned functional area

• Definition of high-level design (HLD) and System interactions for the defined uses cases

• Definition of quality attributes for subsystem realising functional area of expertise

• Development of SWCs in AUTOSAR/Adaptive and Classic AUTOSAR

• Supplier management for a compliant and high-quality software delivery

• Always be up to date with latest innovations and technological trends of the industry.

• Coach, Train & Mentor: Shares knowledge with others through regular training and delivery support.

WHAT YOU”LL NEED

• Extensive feature development experience leveraging embedded software & device driver development using C/C++

• Expert knowledge of the AUTOSAR stack and familiarity with AUTOSAR configuration tools (DaVinci Developer / Configurator, MATLAB, CANApe )

• Excellent knowledge of Classic Autosar and Flash Bootloader functionality

• Understanding of automotive networking, diagnostics and fault handling techniques, including diagnostic implementation in AUTOSAR compliant framework (DEM/DCM config)

• Have hands on experience modules like COM, Diagnostics, Memory, OS, and Error Management etc.

• Strong working experience in Agile environment

• Experience working within complex organization as effective team player, actively develops and supports team members.

• Experience in Delivery and in solving complex technical issues using a structured approach, customer first mindset.
