Our Team:
The Audio Cloud Technology team is responsible for transforming Bauer Media’s
broadcast systems into cloud-based, scalable solutions that support both traditional
broadcast and digital streaming outputs. We are a collaborative team working to build
and maintain a future-proof cloud infrastructure for audio broadcasting, creating a single
integrated system across Bauer’s multiple countries of operation.
The Main Focus of the Role:
As a Junior Audio Cloud Engineer, you will support the migration of Bauer Media’s
broadcast systems to a cloud platform, focusing on the integration and maintenance of
these systems. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to develop your skills and play
a key role in building a robust, cloud-based broadcasting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the migration of on-premise broadcast systems to cloud-based
platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Work with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and
manage cloud-based broadcast applications.
Collaborate with the senior engineering team to build and maintain cloud
infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Support the Group Technology Cloud team in implementing continuous
integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) practices.
Participate in monitoring and troubleshooting cloud system performance to
ensure seamless broadcasting operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills:
o Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
o Familiarity with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
