About this job  

Edenbridge creates cutting edge software used at scale across the NHS. We are looking for experienced and passionate software engineers to join our growing development team. As a team member you will help us define, design, build, and deliver innovative software solutions designed to drive change and help improve patient care. 

 

Applicants should have extensive .NET and C# experience in addition to strong Web frontend development skills. 

The role (What you will DO and the IMPACT you will have)  
  • Successful develop, delivery maintain high quality software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.) 
  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle. 
  • Contribute to quality activities, incl. peer reviews of estimates, designs, and code 
  • Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches 
  • Dedicated ‘side project’ time. 
  • Be an active and enthusiastic team player. Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments. 
  • Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics 
  • Continuously strive to make improvements to the existing products and/or systems and services. 
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to the required quality standards. 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience (What you will KNOW or LEARN) 

You will have been successful at building scalable, maintainable, and extensible software. You should also be able to demonstrate effective communication, be a team player and have a passion for technology. 

 

The following skills and experience are required for this role: 

  • Extensive .NET/C# experience 
  • Strong frontend web development experience with HTML5/Typescript/CSS 
  • Experience using a web application framework e.g., Angular, React, Vue 
  • Strong relational database experience 
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies 
  • Experience with building software for cloud platforms is preferable
