Here at 288 Group, you’ll be joining 200 colleagues in a financially secure e-commerce business with a 75-year track record of successful trading. Be part of our future growth in a business that has weathered the COVID storm well, as we build on sales of £40 million and record profits in recent years.
Our systems transformation team is working at the bleeding edge in a programme to move our Collectables Division away from legacy monolith systems towards a new suite of applications. The result will be an integrated, scalable and highly available cloud-native, microservices architecture centred around loosely coupled independent components.
We primarily use Microsoft stack with Azure DevOps for project management and continuous integration and delivery of applications. All our code is deployed using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) YAML pipelines built by the developers. We are passionate about quality and security of our applications and use automated tools (such as SonarCloud and Snyk) to monitor all applications. Based on Agile and continuous improvement principles, we aim to deliver excellence to the business meeting the demands of a competitive e-commerce landscape.

STEP TWO
Successful candidates from the first stage are then requested to complete a technical test. This test requires them to design, develop, and test a full software application and submit it to us.
STEP THREE
The final stage of the interview process is an hour long technical interview. This is a discussion about technical concepts and usually revolves around the developer test submission from stage 2. Technical/Software leads and senior engineers are usually a part of this stage.
