Tech Student Opportunities

Tech Internships:

• Overview: During your internship, you will have the chance to work on meaningful projects that positively impact our teams’ success, develop your technical skills, build your network through global learning sessions and interact with our senior leaders.
• Program Duration: 10 weeks to 6 months (dependent on location)
• When to Apply: July to November (application timelines vary by location)
• Hiring In: US, UK, India

Tech Graduate Programs:

• Overview: Upon joining Amex as a full-time colleague, you will be enrolled into our 1-year Graduate Full-Time Program. Over the course of the program, you will receive the tools you need to develop your career in Tech – from technical skills training and networking to global learning sessions, including bespoke educational talks from senior leaders across the enterprise. With opportunities in cybersecurity to software engineering and every role and language in between, our Tech teams are backed by American Express with the resources and support needed to make a tangible impact and grow their career.

 Tech Apprentice Program:

• Overview: During your 18-month Software Engineering Apprenticeship, you will gain hands-on coding experience with additional opportunities such as networking with external start-ups, competing in hackathons, and supporting local community work. We'll provide each apprentice with continuous training and development, 20% virtual classroom-based training with 80% on-the-job learning.
• Program Offered: September
• When to Apply: October – February
