As a Mid Full Stack Developer you will join a team focused on building demo/sample applications, integrations and tooling that make use of the Amplience product to support customers, sales and partnerships by broadcasting the value of the Amplience core product in usable applications to solve customer problems.
You will use a mix of technologies including web technologies (JavaScript/React), backend technologies (NodeJS) as well as specific technologies required to support integrations with 3rd party platforms.

Your role will be to build solutions to help deliver value for the consumers of the Amplience platform. As a Mid level Developer, you should work within your cross-discipline team to find best solutions and have the ability to concept, raise concerns and highlight gaps.
You should have a good technical understanding to be able to accurately size work OR highlight investigation required to do so (ie, spikes)
Developing and maintain extensions to the Amplience platform
Building new capabilities and improvements into demonstration sites / applications
Building integrations with other software platforms in the eCommerce space
Building examples to help external developers use the Amplience platform
Working closely other stakeholders in your team (Developers, QA and VP Product Solutions)
Solid working experience as a Full Stack Developer (3+ years of full stack development)
Understanding of MACH architecture (Microservices, API First, Cloud, Headless)
Experience working with Headless technologies
Modern Front end web experience (React, NextJS, Typescript, Vue etc)
Basic Front-end Experience (HTML / CSS / JS / Handlebars)
Previous experience working with any of the following: REST APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks, Handlebars, JSON and/or a CMS platform is a plus
Strong source control, version control knowledge (ie, git, releases)
Back-end development experience
Good collaboration with cross discipline team
Scripting experience (NodeJS, Bash etc)
Ability to develop with testing in mind (ie, unit tests / end-to-end tests)
Ability to contribute to design sessions using whiteboarding tooling such as Miro
Cross team collaboration for the broader business to help, review & learn from
Risk assessment – ensuring that solutions have no or limited downtime and non-breaking changes

Some knowledge of hosting technology
Knowledge of native app development is desirable but not mandatory
Ability to document solutions so that others can pick up and understand how to run / use
Share responsibility across full lifecycle of a feature including contributing to QA / UAT
