At Evri, every successful delivery starts with a smart plan. As a Regional Route Planner, you’ll sit at the heart of our Final Mile operation, designing the routes that keep parcels moving efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time. This is a hybrid role, but with real regional impact — your local knowledge will directly influence how deliveries happen on the ground.
What you’ll be doing
As a Regional Route Planner, you’ll design and optimise final mile delivery routes across our parcel network, using GeoPlan to unlock higher productivity and smarter postcode sector planning.
Although the role offers hybrid working, you’ll be responsible for planning across our North East region, covering: Leeds, Leicester, Lincoln, Sheffield and Teesside. A strong understanding of these locations including geography, distance, traffic patterns and local delivery challenges will be a real advantage in building efficient, executable routes.
You’ll work closely with Site Managers to ensure routes are practical and achievable in day-to-day operations, while partnering with Regional Operational Managers to align routing strategies with wider network objectives. From improving Stops per Route to reacting quickly to volume changes, your plans will have a direct impact on productivity, cost and service performance.
Responsibilities
Design and optimise delivery routes at postcode sector level to maximise Stops per Route
Balance productivity with service constraints such as delivery windows, driver hours, and vehicle capacity
Collaborate with Site Managers to ensure routes are practical and operationally achievable
Present routing strategies and changes to Regional Operational Managers for approval
Monitor performance metrics and identify optimisation opportunities
