We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Owner.

In this role, you will:

• Industry experience, in Payments, Cash Management and/or Treasury Management. Especially sound understanding of payment flows.
• Product management or product development experience preferred.
• Experience and knowledge on Swift and ISO 20022 is required.
• Good understanding of HSBC payment architecture and flow.
• Experience in working in large scale programs across client, market and regulatory requirements preferred.
• Ability to effectively work in a diverse and multicultural team.

• Effective communicator across all levels, functional groups and geographies. Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written. Strong communication skills and fluency in English is expected.

• Proactive in identifying opportunities, self-motivated, willing to take ownership and responsibility.
• Managing demands from several sources and working to deadlines. Ability to coach/mentor to junior product managers in the team.

 To be successful you will:

• Experience in Transaction banking, Enterprise, preferably in Payment’s product management.
• Proven experience in product management, product commercialization, IT and operations, process improvements or project management disciplines. 
• Practical knowledge in solution development, business case development and requirement analysis are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex problems, interpret customer and/or operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or transaction banking functions with an exposure to Product Management. 

• Preferred if has been working in a lead Business Analyst or a Product owner role for at least 5 to 6 years and be able to handle a team.

• Experience in implementing large scale product development project.
• Familiarity with product governance and project management disciplines.
• Understanding of relevant regulatory environment and impact.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
