Technical Expertise:
- Expert level experience in enterprise architecture and architecture patterns
- In depth expertise designing highly reliable, fault tolerant, scalable, and high availability enterprise critical applications
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise level microservice architecture in a hybrid-cloud environment
- Ability to work across a diverse technical stack – Java, Python, Redis, Oracle, C#, F#, Postgres SQL, Angular, MongoDB, AG Grid, OpenFin
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, and data warehousing solutions
- In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies
- Experience in a scaled agile operating model
- A passion for high quality design and code
- Experience with development frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate, and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and JIRA
- AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation etc)
- Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline
- Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed design and implementation plans for OneRisk, the next generation and industry leading market risk platform
- Guide senior engineering leads on best in class design and implementation strategies
- Chair the design authority (DA)
- Partner with firmwide architecture group to achieve outcomes
- Hands-on contributor to code
- Set and achieve highest technical standards
- Ability to influence across products and teams
