Duties: Design, create, and support objects in PeopleSoft CRM interface using an Oracle 19c database. Interface with the user community to collect and document requirements for projects. Troubleshoot and resolve production related issues. Perform tuning on complex SQL, PL/SQL, and application code to improve the performance of searches and application performance. Design and develop integrations with third-party systems using web services and service-oriented architecture. Produce event driven data for third party systems to consume. Consume events from third party systems. Write technical design documents for enhancements. Create and maintain application and web servers. Develop job processing in the scheduling system, and support and maintain the scheduling system. Work with team members to ensure that Sprint team deliverables are completed in a timely manner. Provide on-call support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Lead, Team Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Lead, Team Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: writing Oracle stored procedures for backend data processing, including communication with other databases using DB links and utilizing functions and packages within the stored procedures; developing Application Engine programs to load data into the PeopleSoft application, including performing data-level validations; using Application Engine programs to send and receive data to and from third party applications using APIs; developing complex PeopleSoft application components using Application Designer, and utilizing vendor-specific tools including Component Interface and File Layouts; running RPC, Perl, and Python scripts from Application Engine programs; working with PeopleSoft application servers and creating new application server domains, process scheduler domains, and webserver domains; using Tuxedo and working with WebLogic servers; performing PeopleSoft Security including application security and API security, such as bearer token for API integrations; setting up single- sign on functionality within PeopleSoft; developing transformation programs using XSLT; writing and executing scripts using Data Mover; using CAPI tool to promote PeopleSoft code to higher environments; and working with Java applications and supporting Java developed web services.
