Momentum Developer
Position Description
Are you passionate about developing solutions? Do you enjoy problem solving? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Momentum developer.
This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Fairfax, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities
-Develop and maintain customizations and extensions for Momentum Financials and Acquisitions.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
-Write and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
-Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
-Monitor application performance and optimize as necessary.
-Stay updated with the latest developments in the Momentum suite and related technologies.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Momentum experience
- Experience with Java, C++
- Experience with webMethods
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and other open-source tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with APIs
- Strong experience with SQL
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Knowledge of Momentum 8x
- Experience working under Agile methodology
- HTML, Javascript, JQuery
- Experience with JIRA or Azure Dev Ops
- Familiarity with SOAP/REST
- Oracle SQL
- Experience with developing Ansible plays and roles
