Provide support to GBP's Design/Graphics Department. This individual will create structural designs, prototype samples and assist with artwork/graphics for the Sales Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Work closely with design team to achieve daily tasks. · Packaging development, including prototyping, testing, and documentation for all business units. · Assist with equipment testing and machine tryouts related to packaging implementation. · Assist in the packaging cost estimating process. · Develop knowledge of materials used and packaging assembly processes. · Value Added/Value Engineered packaging improvements. · Create, review, update and circulate packaging specifications. · Gather critical requirements and research product alternatives. · Interact cross-functionally supporting various packaging materials projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Familiarity with Artios CAD (both 2D and 3D0, Tops and Adobe Illustrator CC · Possess strong hands-on and mechanical skills with familiarity of hand and power tools. · Excellent communication and organizational skills. · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. REQUIREMENTS · Working toward a BA or certificate from a Fine Arts program/Graphic Design school. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to see color and distinguish colors precisely.
This 6-month internship pay wage is $22/hour.
