The Role
We are looking for a visionary Data Strategy & Advisory Leader at Managing Principal level to drive the growth of Capco’s award-winning Data Practice. You’ll lead the design and delivery of enterprise data strategies and capabilities across Financial Services, collaborating with top-tier clients and multidisciplinary teams to shape innovative, scalable solutions. This is a senior leadership opportunity to influence direction, drive commercial growth, and mentor the next generation of data leaders.
What You’ll Do
Develop and operationalise enterprise-level data strategies across banking, insurance and investment sectors
Lead engagements focused on governance, data literacy, quality and regulatory response
Shape new propositions and lead business development initiatives in data consulting
Scale data capabilities across internal teams and client organisations, delivering consistent outcomes
Build lasting senior stakeholder relationships and contribute to industry-facing thought leadership
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of senior-level data consulting experience with Financial Services institutions
Extensive experience in enterprise data transformation, including strategy and advisory
Expertise in frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC and the full data lifecycle
Proven record in business development, client engagement and team leadership
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups
Bonus Points For
Experience working with data regulations such as BCBS 239, CCAR, Solvency II
Familiarity with Capital Markets, Insurance, or Wealth & Asset Management data environments
Background leading large, cross-functional client and internal delivery teams
Track record in pipeline development, domain planning, and proposition design
Formal certification in data governance, data architecture or data strategy
