JOB DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Define target state data architecture and strategy for firm's wealth management products and platform. Partner closely with other lines of business and Global Technology leadership to make data available for product capabilities and features and analytics purposes. Define current state data architecture including detailed technical solution architecture to deliver business requirements for all operational data needs and analytics purposes including real-time dashboards, reports, and insights in alignment with target state. Maintain tech-debt for all wealth management products tied to data, data sources, and data processing pipelines. Conduct build versus buy vendor analysis, and provide recommendation for all data products considering the feasibility, outcomes, and value for the business and its clients. Actively represent firm's wealth management business line in Data Review Board (DRB) to review and align on data governance standards, such as lineage, ontology, meta data management, access mechanisms, discoverability, data formats, and availability. Lead innovation lab from technology to deliver innovative concepts for customer value and business outcomes. Define and deliver artificial intelligence (Al) and machine learning (ML) solutions, leveraging the power of GenAl to increase internal, advisor, and servicing teams productivity by partnering closely with business and product partners and other senior leaders within the firm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Management & Information Systems, Engineering (Computer, Electronic/Electrical, or Mechanical), Mathematics, or related field of study plus ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or as Principal/Data Architect, Al/Product/Analytics Architect, Data Director, Software Development Manager, Technology Lead, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Management & Information Systems, Engineering (Computer, Electronic/Electrical, or Mechanical), Mathematics, or related field of study plus eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or as Principal/Data Architect, Al/Product/Analytics Architect, Data Director, Software Development Manager, Technology Lead, Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires eight (8) years of experience with the following skills: defining and delivering target state data architecture and strategy; defining and delivering data solutions to achieve business goals across multiple products; partnering with senior leaders across different lines of business; performing engineering and architecture on data technology ecosystem including data pipelines, data management, data warehouse, and data analytics; technology and vendor product evaluations, including build vs. buy, defining product standards, and representing and co-leading governance boards. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skill: implementing AI/ML technologies, including creating data features for ML models, neural networks, GenAI models, and MLOps.

Full-Time. Salary:  $260,000 - $285,000 per year.
