We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer within our Surveillance & Protection Technologies (S&PT) line of business based at our Luton site.

As a Senior Quality Engineer you will interact at Programme and Integrated Project Team (IPT) level. Working in partnership with the Programme and Project Managers you will:

• Support Principal Quality Engineer & Quality Manager in driving objectives to meet / exceed targets
• Deliver a compliant product in a timely manner meeting all cost and safety requirements
• Support creation of Quality Plans defining quality assurance activities aligned to Risk, Opportunity and Improvement within the Programme and associated Projects
• Lead the Assurance function’s improvement plans across all phases of the Programme, Product and Project Lifecycle
• Support others in order to grow Quality excellence within the Programme/Projects
• Take leadership in ensuring concessions / production permits, IDN requests, CoC signoffs, Receiver requests, CoAs are processed correctly and in timely manner
• Support achievement of quality assurance milestones within the Programme, Product and Project lifecycle
• Ensure delivery of reports and supporting data to the Programme, Project and function
• Actively manage a root cause and corrective action investigations by taking lead on key MRBs, FRBs, SCARS and customer complaints.

What you’ll bring:

• Significant experience working within a Quality environment
• Knowledge and practical experience of Quality Tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification and First Article Inspection
• A mechanical or electrical background

An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
