We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director – Data and Analytics

In this role, you will: 

• Act as an SME/consultant on a functional area, conceptualize analytical solution for the business problem at hand for multiple businesses/regions
• Lead/mentor a team of individuals to provide analytical and strategic solutions to business with clear articulation of recommendations
• Partner with the business effectively to drive data driven decisions and generate value. Owns delivery of high-quality analytical solutions for the business stakeholders across one of more regions
• Partner with business leaders in developing & owning analytical strategies to achieve business goals.
• Translate key analytical solutions as generic and re-deployable across regions / markets
• Supports innovative analytical thinking & solutions that results into improved business performance

To be successful, you will:

• Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent. In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial services/ banking-operations is a must
• Strong knowledge of Visualization, Analytical and ML concepts like modeling, forecasting, segmentation etc. Intermediate level skill set of core data repositories (SAMS/Teradata/CIM/VCX/SAS/SQL/PEGA)
• Proven track record in dynamic/changing banking environments and matrix structure. Ability to nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Exceptionally strong organizational, problem-solving & inter-personal skills. Ability to communicate clearly across various levels
• Besides strong written and verbal communication skills the incumbent is also expected to have strong presentation skills
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies / working as part of an Agile team. Knowledge of data manipulation within large complex databases and extraction of data from multiple sources.
• Ability to work on one’s own but also as part of a larger team to achieve a common goal/objective.  Actively engages with others to gain different perspectives and knowledge.
