JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate Product Manager to help define and deliver the future digital experience for sophisticated estate planning and advice delivery in our Global Private Bank. You will be accountable for understanding the needs of estate planners, advisors, and ultra/high‑net‑worth clients, translating those needs into intuitive digital experiences and workflows that improve planning outcomes, advisor productivity, and client confidence. This is a hands-on product role that combines customer research, journey design, regulatory-aware execution, and strong cross-functional leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Define product vision and outcomes for next‑generation estate planning and advice experiences across planner, advisor, and client journeys, aligned to business KPIs and risk standards.
  • Own and prioritize a data‑driven roadmap that balances near-term value with long-term platform capabilities (e.g., scenario modeling, entity visualization, document workflows, fiduciary coordination).
  • Lead discovery: conduct deep user research with estate planners and advisors; synthesize insights from client feedback, field visits, and analytics to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Translate requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; partner with design and engineering to deliver usable, compliant solutions.
  • Champion end‑to‑end experience quality: design and validate journey flows, content, and interactions for complex planning constructs (trust structures, gifting strategies, multi‑jurisdictional considerations).
  • Collaborate with Legal/Compliance, Risk, and Control partners to ensure regulatory alignment and appropriate advice guardrails in digital workflows.
  • Partner with Data/Analytics to measure adoption, efficiency, and client impact; define success metrics and run experiments to improve outcomes.
  • Drive change management: craft training, guidance, and communications for planners and advisors; collect qualitative/quantitative feedback to iterate quickly.
  • Coordinate with adjacent product teams (e.g., client portals, onboarding, CRM, document management, e‑signature, reporting) to ensure cohesive experiences and platform reuse.
  • Serve as the voice of the planner/advisor/client in backlog grooming, sprint ceremonies, and release planning; ensure delivery quality and readiness for scale.

Key Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in product management, digital strategy, or experience design in wealth management, private banking, or related domains; estate planning exposure strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, regulated digital products end‑to‑end (discovery through launch and iteration), ideally involving advisor-facing tools and client experiences.
  • Familiarity with advanced estate planning concepts (e.g., trusts, GRATs, CLTs, family partnerships, philanthropic vehicles) and how advisors and planners operationalize them in practice.
  • Strong user research and journey-mapping skills; ability to convert insights into prioritized, testable product increments.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management; comfortable engaging senior planners, advisors, attorneys, and risk partners.
  • Quantitative mindset with hands-on experience defining KPIs, instrumentation, and experimentation (A/B tests, pilots).
  • Proficiency with agile practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and comfort working with designers and engineers to shape pragmatic solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to distill complexity into clear narratives and decision-ready artifacts.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFP, JD exposure, MBA) a plus.

Success Metrics

  • Advisor/planner productivity improvements (e.g., time to produce and iterate plans, reduction in rework).
  • Increased adoption and engagement of estate planning features by advisors and clients.
  • Improved client understanding and confidence in estate strategies (measured via feedback/NPS).
  • Risk/compliance adherence with reduced exceptions and streamlined controls integrated into workflows.
  • Delivered roadmap milestones on schedule with measurable outcome improvements.

Why Join Us

  • Influence the next generation of estate planning experiences for UHNW and HNW clients.
  • Work at the intersection of wealth strategy, digital product, and regulated advice—at scale.

Join a high-caliber, mission-driven team advancing JPMorganChase’s Global Private Bank digital strategy
