We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Engineer to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable data solutions, implementing a foundational data lake, and enabling powerful self-service analytics with Amazon QuickSight. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure our data infrastructure supports strategic decision-making.
Design and implement a lightweight data lake architecture, suitable for Qure4u’s scale and growth stage.
Integrate data from internal systems (e.g., EHR integrations, APIs, SaaS platforms) into the data lake using ETL/ELT best practices.
Maintain clean, secure, and well-documented data pipelines for long-term scalability.
Develop curated datasets and semantic layers optimized for Amazon QuickSight dashboards and reports.
Partner with analysts and business users to understand data needs and deliver actionable visualizations.
Monitor data quality and accuracy across reports and dashboards.
Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda) to build and maintain efficient data workflows.
Optimize storage and query performance for both batch and near real-time processing.
Establish data governance, logging, and alerting to ensure system reliability and compliance.
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
Proficiency in building data pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda).
Hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight, including dataset creation and dashboard publishing.
Understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and data lake concepts.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in healthcare data environments or working with sensitive data (HIPAA-compliant systems).
Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Step Functions).
Prior experience with Redshift, Snowflake, or similar cloud data warehouses.
