This role is remote-first, with occasional travel to Morley, Leeds for collaboration and cross-team technical sessions.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior AI & Automation Engineer, you'll take the lead in designing, engineering and delivering scalable AI-driven and automated solutions aligned to Evri’s Intelligent Automation strategy. You’ll work across machine learning, large language models, MLOps, Power Platform, AWS and Databricks - building intelligent systems that enhance efficiency and accelerate organisational growth.
You’ll mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural direction, and support key technology decisions that influence Evri’s automation landscape. You’ll champion engineering best practices and drive high-quality solutions that are robust, secure and future-ready.
Responsibilities
Design, build and deploy Machine Learning models, LLM-based solutions and generative AI components.
Implement MLOps best practices including pipelines, monitoring and automated model evaluation.
Integrate AI/ML models into business workflows using scalable APIs and orchestration layers.
Engineer performant automation across Power Platform, AWS and Databricks.
Support architecture with scalable, secure and resilient design patterns.
Design, code, test and document high-quality software following engineering best practices.
Identify, assess and scope new AI and automation opportunities.
