Our International business has the exciting job of bringing our famous clothing, food and home products to over 32 million customers worldwide. Collaborating with our partner businesses, different countries and cultures, you'll work with colleagues around the world to help us reshape International as we know it.

What you'll do...

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support the International Buying Team to deliver the Product Strategy inline with the Global brand vision.
• Develop and promote a clear understanding of the M&S international customer and markets.
• Support the international integration with the Business Units; ensuring specific International insights and requirements are briefed, aligned and delivered against. Where required, work with BU Buying and Design teams to interpret and adapt to International market trends and direction, ensuring that the range developed is differentiating and targeted to the needs of the customer.
• Support the Junior/Buyers in the product selection, assortment and range building for International across markets, channels and Business Units.
• Act as a key point of contact for the Partnerships, Wholesale and online Team, Trading Teams and in market Buying teams on all BU and product related topics
• Manage the sample and product management process seasonally, proactively ensure that the office and mock shop are tidy and compliant with H&S requirements
• To support the Junior/Buyer with all systematic elements of the buying process, ensuring the timely completion of the relevant approvals and stage gates.

Who you are...

Your skills and experience include:

• Experience working in a BAA role or similar experience with a passion for product

• Agile, adaptable and proactive with a strong ability to thrive in dynamic environments and to managing ambiguity effectively.

• Passion for delivering world class product through global, multi-channel retailing and a desire to learn about the M&S brand and global customer.

• Highly organised with attention to detail

• Multi task orientated

• Able to demonstrate a commercial mindset

• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate clearly
