About our Team
You will be joining Squad of 10 which consists of Software Engineers, QA Testers and Business Analyst. The team are collaborative, curious and intuitive. XpertHR aim to support organisations in igniting the human potential in their teams by creating fair, purposeful and supportive workspaces while navigating the complex world of employment laws and regulations.
About the Role
As an Engineering Lead at XpertHR, you'll play a pivotal role in leading our data platform and data engineering teams. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and management skills.
You'll be responsible for
Leading the software engineering team in the development of high-quality software products. .
Architect and manage the development of scalable, efficient data platforms and pipelines.
Promoting best practices in data engineering and platform management.
Ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of data solutions.
Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Designing and implementing software architectures that are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
Communicating with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide project updates.
Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines to meet business objectives.
Requirements
Experience in background in data platform technologies, including Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, DaaS.
Experience in programming languages such as Python, .NET, SQL.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their data services.
Experience with Agile development methodologies, especially Scrum.
Be able to lead and manage technical teams effectively.
Be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
