This role will need a commitment to work one day per week on site in either Manchester or Birmingham. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level as a minimum.


Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer, you’ll be part of a focused team providing support to Central Government clients. Responsibilities entail providing both support and development for a number of Microsoft software-based applications/services used by clients to deliver core capabilities around inspections and other various other activities.

Some key responsibilities include:
- Software development, unit testing, peer review of code
- Fixing software application defects in accordance with agreed operations practices
- Communicating with customer teams, internal client IT support areas and third parties
- Designing, developing and configuration of applications and their components
- Creating technical material to support governance processes, such as architecture and change review
- Providing development expertise and insight to support effective evaluation of new technologies
- Customising and providing enhancements for existing and new Microsoft solutions
- Coaching and training of client team members where necessary


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Dynamics 365
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Bi, Dataverse)
- Azure, .NET
- SharePoint
- Microsoft 365
- Common data Services and Model Driven Architecture
- Agile experience
- ITIL Support processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
- Strong communication skills/client facing experience

Desirable:
- Governmental experience in Dynamics 365 CRM Development & Power platform
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM framework and platform
- Experience in migrating legacy CRM applications to Dynamics 365
- Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM design/development experience
- Exposure to C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS etc.
- Demonstrable knowledge of capabilities of the supporting software in the Microsoft stack such as Azure integration tools
- Proficiency in using the CRM SDK and plugin platforms
