We are currently seeking a seasoned Trust & Estates Senior Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a challenging and rewarding role for a driven individual who is passionate about trust and estate law. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice to clients on a range of trust and estate matters, including estate administration, estate planning, wills, trusts, estates, and probate. Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal counsel to clients on all aspects of trust and estate law, including estate administration, estate planning, wills, trusts, estates, and probate.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans tailored to meet clients' specific needs and objectives.
3. Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
4. Represent clients in probate court proceedings and handle all aspects of estate administration.
5. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
6. Collaborate closely with other members of the legal team to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in trust and estate law and advise clients accordingly.
8. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional client service at all times.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in NY.
3. A minimum of 6 years of experience in trust and estate law, with a proven track record of success.
4. In-depth knowledge of trust and estate law, including estate administration, estate planning, wills, trusts, estates, and probate.
5. Exceptional legal research, analysis, and drafting skills.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
10. Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to provide quality legal advice and representation.
