Job title: Data & Technology Lead

Location: Frimley, Preston or London – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £68,000 depending on skills and experience

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse functional requirements for technology and data, providing specialist advice on technology and data exploitation
  • Identifying inefficiencies in processes or systems and proposes solutions to improve enterprise technology adoption
  • Acting as a liaison between functional stakeholders and technical SMEs (Group IM&T, SSvS EIT) ensuring the Security Function’s requirements are fully understood
  • Collaborating with Group IM&T Architecture and Data & Analytics teams to ensure the Security Function’s data and systems architecture models are mapped
  • Maintaining and developing the Function’s technology roadmap and ensure opportunities for standardisation and enterprise adoptions are raised to the SLT
  • Working with key Functions to ensure appropriate coordination of technology portfolio across Security, IM&T, Supply Chain, HR and Legal/Export Control
  • Maintaining a Functional IM&T Roadmap and project portfolio, triaging inputs from all Security Capability Centres, curating long-term adoption of enterprise technologies

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Good knowledge of data architecture principles and IM&T portfolio management

  • Experience in business transformation and managing the organisational impact of new technologies and digital services

  • Ability to capture and translate business requirements into functional and technical outcomes, delivering value for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder

Desirable:

  • Awareness of Security domains including physical, personnel and cyber security
