Primary Responsibilities of the Director of Data Analytics:
- Direct and implement analytic initiatives to support decision-making for the IR Commercial Strategy business, particularly relating to Rebate and Formulary strategy
- Provide scenario modelling solutions to support Commercial Strategy in Pharma negotiations and guide business strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior leaders within the organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business, understanding their challenges and translating them into data-driven strategies.
- Clearly communicate analytical results and strategic insights to non-technical senior business stakeholders.
- Manage the creation and deployment of leading data products and advanced analytics solutions.
- Manage resource allocation and project prioritization, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Promote knowledge sharing and mentoring within analytics teams. Offer technical leadership to assist with data analytics problems, including coding and reviews.
- Lead the team in rapid prototyping, testing, and iterating on new insights to support dynamic business needs.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytical and AI/ML methodologies to solve complex business problems – leveraging internal capabilities within the Rx Data Strategy and Analytics teams

Required Qualifications of the Director of Data Analytics:
- Extensive experience in data analytics roles, preferably in healthcare and/or in PBM business.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies, MS Azure, Python, SQL, Databricks, Data Factory, and Git.
- Proven track record of leading data analytics teams and projects.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts and insights to stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
- Experience in effectively managing cross-functional projects and teams.
Preferred Qualifications of the Director of Data Analytics:
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a discipline with a strong analytical focus such as Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- Experience in deploying AI/ML solutions in a healthcare setting that has delivered measurable business impact.
- Prior experience in consulting or strategic advisory role in analytics.
