We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Tech SME
In this role, you will:
- Model industry best practices and the business landscape to assess the alignment of business capabilities with IT solutions and delivered technologies.
- Provide consultation to Business Owners, Product Owners, Senior Leadership, and External Vendors on complex, cross-functional issues impacting integrated systems and organizational operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define goals, identify challenges, and propose viable, data-informed solutions.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives, ensuring comprehensive and scalable business and technical requirements.
- Offer foundational support for enterprise data management, system integration, and strategic technology road mapping. Assist in establishing clear standards and guidelines for defining business and system requirements to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve competing demands, and drive deliverables across partner and project teams. Work actively with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior management, Technology, and Business Operations teams, to align on goals and execution.
- Interpret emerging regulatory requirements, translate them into IT system and process updates, and lead end-to-end delivery of compliant solutions.Maintain alignment with internal risk management, compliance frameworks, and control standards.Establish and sustain effective communication and support mechanisms across COO, CIO, Transformation, and Domain-specific teams to ensure transparency and progress tracking
To be successful, you will:
- 15+ years of experience in billing Products - Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) with excellent understanding on billing processes such as Pricing, Billing, Revenue Management, Payments & Collections. Experience in Business Process Consulting, Problem Definition, Architecture/ Design/ Detailing of Processes in Financial Services/ Banking domain.
- Should be well versed in ORMB technical architecture, framework methods, Web Application Server, Business Application Server, and Database Server. Proficient in analysing and translating business requirements to functional solutions and representing design solutions with partner systems. Delivery, governance & reporting to stakeholders including the Product owner in the business, leadership of a service line or Product within Technology.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems at scale. Consulting across business operations, providing mentorship, and help team deliver the detailed design solutions. Identifying areas where functional/technical solutions would improve business performance.
- Providing subject expertise and guidance to IT developers on ORMB product during the software development cycle. Functional analysis, solution design and infrastructure, customizations, implementations of software applications and Release Warranty period support Good understanding of product architecture, data model & Oracle Utilities Application Framework.
- Experience in technologies & tools like Configuration Oracle 19c (SQL/PLSQL), ETL, Java, XML & Unix scripts/commands. Experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment. Must have experience of working and delivering in stringent deadlines meeting cost and quality expectations.
- Good to have Requirements- Familiarity with AGILE and Scaled AGILE methodologies. Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Agile methodologies, Sprint, Story Points, Task Estimations during sprint planning.
