JOB DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Cultivate strong relationships with Business Managers in North America (NAM) and Latin America (LATAM) across Macro, Equities, and Credit LOBs. Understand their business objectives and proactively identify opportunities for cost savings initiatives. Foster strong relationships with trade venues in NAM and LATAM. Stay informed about key developments, upcoming changes, challenges, and issues. Lead brokerage negotiations with trade venues on behalf of trading desks to optimize trading costs and efficiency. Ensure that relationships with third-party vendors align with the strategic priorities of Global Markets. Conduct in-depth reviews of over-the-counter brokerage expenses and brokerage rates. Initiate cost-saving projects based on the findings of these reviews. Collaborate with the Equity Business team to review client connectivity expenses. Challenge the profitability of line connections and seek opportunities for cost optimization. Partner with Finance to monitor and track savings achieved through cost reduction initiatives, ensuring alignment with financial targets. Coordinate with Operations to ensure that updated rate cards are integrated into the reconciliation process. Serve as the primary point of contact for all new trade venue onboarding activities in the NAM and LATAM regions. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel for Broker and vendor meetings and visits to other JPMorgan offices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Business Analysis Manager, Product Development, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Business Analysis Manager, Product Development, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: Markets Trading and Financial Services: Cross product familiarity including FX, Interest Rates, Fixed Income, Credit and Equities to ensure cost optimization, efficiency, controlled and regulatory compliant onboarding, offboarding, and life cycle events for venues; utilizing applicable regulatory frameworks and market dynamics; managing relationships with internal clients and stakeholders and understanding their needs and priorities; utilizing brokerage cost analysis, commission structures, and their impact on financial transactions and profitability within the financial services sector; utilizing products including Interest Rate Swaps, Interest rate options, U.S. treasury, FX forwards, FX NDFs, FX Spot, Equity Options, Equity Futures, Credit Default swaps, and Commodity derivatives within fixed income and equities markets, including their characteristics, trading mechanics, and client requirements; creating Alteryx flows and Tableau dashboards providing market intelligence and identifying cost saving opportunities.

Job Location: 4 Chase Metrotech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11245. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel for Broker and vendor meetings and visits to other JPMorgan offices.

Full-Time. Salary:  $172,250 - $182,000 per year.
