Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support for KX applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot software, infrastructure, and database-related issues.
· Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics to identify potential problems.
· Work with development teams to escalate and resolve critical software defects.
· Assist in application deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes.
· Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices.
· Develop automation scripts and tools to improve support efficiency (for senior-level candidates).
· Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives (for senior-level candidates).
· On-call and weekend work will be required to support critical incidents, system maintenance, or client needs outside regular business hours.
Required Skills & Experience:

For Mid-Level Candidates:
· 2+ years of experience in application support, IT operations, or technical support.
· Good troubleshooting skills in Linux/Unix environments.
· Experience with databases (SQL, kdb+/q, or time-series databases).
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
For Senior Candidates:
· 5+ years of experience in a similar role, supporting high-performance applications.
· Expertise in Linux/Unix system administration, distributed systems, and networking.
· Strong experience in SQL, kdb+/q, or other time-series databases.
· Hands-on knowledge of performance tuning, automation (Python, Shell, etc.), and monitoring tools.
· Ability to lead incident resolution, perform root cause analysis, and mentor junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications (for all levels):
· Experience in financial trading systems, IoT applications, or real-time analytics.
· Familiarity with observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
· Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
· ITIL certification or experience working in an ITIL-based support environment.
