The Role:
As part of the Hardware Engineering Team within Sensor Systems at SAAB UK, you will create design solutions for electronic products in radar systems. Your work will align with the company’s business needs through innovation, creativity, and professionalism.
You may be required to lead projects, directing and coordinating project activities within the Engineering Department and other areas of the business such as Purchasing, Operations, Sales, and Logistics.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
5 years+ Electronic Engineering experience
Degree in relevant Engineering discipline
Experience with design and development of new Electronics designs specifically for radar systems.
Comfortable with undertaking novel designs with quantified acceptable risks.
Experience of full-lifecycle design and development: from concept to end of life.
Proficient in RF, mixed and high-speed digital circuit design
Familiar and experienced with working with standard industry tools for circuit simulation and layout
Design for LVD/EMC Compliance.
Development of requirements specifications and test procedures.
System level integration and testing.
Experience with radar signal processing algorithms and their implementation would be advantageous.
To work with minimal supervision either on your own or within project teams.
“Hands on” “can do” approach to the above.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with extensive professional experience.

Very good command of written and verbal English, ability to communicate efficiently with international colleagues from various engineering and non-engineering functions. Self-motivated to seek answers when information is limited and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
During your employment you will handle tasks and materials that are classified as military secret and therefore you must have a UK or Swedish citizenship
