As an Area Product Owner for AML/KYC (Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer), you will lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. Specifically, you will build solutions to drive the collection and maintenance of required KYC information for Consumer Community banking. 

As a Product Director - Anti-Money Laundering at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer & Community Banking, you will leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that inspires cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.
  • Lead the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets such as cost efficiency, feature enhancements, reusability, and reliability.
  • Coach and mentor the product team on best practices, including solution discovery, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, to ensure successful implementation of objectives.
  • Own product performance and make strategic investments in enhancements that align with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation.
  • Act as a regional leader, collaborating with other local site leaders, coordinating regional changes, and fostering cohesiveness across geographic locations for product teams.
  • Solve technical and functional problems by asking questions, defining problems, and monitoring where our platform sits in the ecosystem. Understand the technologies and approaches in use and those we should be using to drive our objectives for these technical products.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, data analytics, and distributed technology.
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Strong leader with the ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with both internal and external partners to develop innovative product solutions.
  • Skills in cost-efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation, and analysis.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Recognized thought leader within a related field.
  • Skills in cost-efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation, and analysis.
  • Experience with public cloud data storage solutions, generative AI infrastructure, and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of technologies including API, Microservices, Cassandra, Kafka, AWS, and data technologies.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into clear technical requirements and build strong, productive relationships with engineers and technical partners.
