We are seeking a talented and experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services to join our innovative and fast-paced team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background, hands-on experience building scalable backend systems, and a solid understanding of cloud-native development.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
Develop and deploy serverless applications and microservices on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, and other AWS services.
Build and optimize data pipelines and automation scripts for ETL processes.
Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
Monitor application performance and implement solutions to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and mentor junior developers as needed.
Ensure application security, compliance, and proper error handling.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development with strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and web services.
Solid experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, CodePipeline).
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).
Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
AWS Certification (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect).
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or ECS.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with data engineering, streaming data (e.g., Kinesis), or analytics pipelines is a plus.
Prior experience working in financial, healthcare, or enterprise-grade environments.
