As a Programme Delivery Lead in EMEA Merchant Services Product, you are an integral part of the team that drives the development and delivery of key strategic product initiatives. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and ensuring the efficient, scalable delivery of payment solutions that enhance client experience and support the firm’s strategic objectives. Utilizing your deep understanding of program and project management, you guide the successful launch of products, oversee cross-functional teams, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with internal partners to deliver high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Drives the end-to-end delivery of payment solutions, overseeing planning, resource management, progress tracking, and execution to ensure solutions are delivered on schedule and fully aligned with product requirements.
- Collaborates with internal teams (Product, Technology, Operations, Risk & Compliance) to align priorities and ensure successful program outcomes.
- Develops detailed project plans, manages timelines, resources, budgets, and risks, and reports on key milestones to senior leadership.
- Identifies opportunities to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the solution go-to-market.
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that supports the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Builds frameworks and tracks key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven experience or equivalent expertise in program or project management experience.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs on time and within budget.
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
- Experience with payment systems, merchant acquiring, POS technologies, in-store commerce, and digital payments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive consensus, and manage competing priorities.
- Experience working with and driving global geographically spread teams.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Program or project management experience in payments, fintech, or retail technology.
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is a plus.
