As a PHP-experienced back-end Software Engineer, you will work on a modern multi-tier enterprise application with multiple integrations in a high-traffic digital health and patient engagement platform. As a member of our Innovation team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of senior engineers building out an expansive set of new features. Bringing patients and providers together through our platform and expanding access to care through Telehealth, remote patient monitoring and virtual care via web-based, mobile applications and IoT devices.
Working with our product and design team to develop the overall function and design of the application
Producing, maintaining and modifying application integration components
Design, architect and develop a wide array of high-traffic, highly scalable, secure applications
Responsible for designing and building a multi-tier enterprise application with many integrations
Routinely testing performance and other quality factors
Build web services to support multiple product offerings
Build integration services with external EHR systems
Responsible for developing applications and API’s utilizing RESTful Web Services, and other specifications like FHIR services.
Analyze application requirements and provide recommended technical design solutions that are secure, efficient, scalable, maintainable, and meet the needs of the business
Become a self-motivated and result-focused team player
Closely work with the company management team in the USA

A bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience
10+ years PHP development experience, or be able to demonstrate Senior level aptitude in PHP
Experience with Symfony Framework in PHP is Preferred, Laravel is acceptable.
Experience integrating with Electronic Health Record (EHR) /Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems a plus
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Ability to design and build Web Services, and integrations with third parties through APIs
Redis, MySQL knowledge, and best practices and performance optimizations
RESTful knowledge
Unit/Integration test experience
Experience working on high-traffic sites is a plus
