Join us as a Operations Analyst - Mega , where you will support the business in achieving its targets while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational standards. In this role, you will help ensure quality deliverables within defined turnaround times while safeguarding the bank’s interests through effective credit documentation, compliance checks, and operational controls.

Where you will:

  • Prepare and review credit documentation, including sanction letters, facility agreements, and security documents to ensure all approved sanction conditions and credit covenants are accurately captured.
  • Coordinate with legal teams to amend existing documentation or prepare new credit documents in line with sanction terms.
  • Review executed documentation in accordance with corporate authorities of borrower and guarantor entities.
  • Ensure all legal, compliance, and credit approvals are in place before issuing draft documents to borrowers.
  • Calculate drawing power (DP) to ensure adequate limits are available for borrowers to draw down facilities.
  • Coordinate with treasury and business teams to make limits available for disbursements.
  • Review security perfection for each facility granted to borrowers and escalate documentation discrepancies to the front office for resolution.
  • Conduct regular reconciliation of pledged securities, both internally and with external stakeholders such as PMRs and AMCs.
  • Maintain and circulate MIS reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Digitally sign statutory forms on Registrar of Companies and government portals to ensure security creation in favour of the bank.
  • Ensure safe custody of documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements before and after limit activation.
  • Support audits by ensuring timely resolution of audit observations across statutory, concurrent, regulatory, and internal audits.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational risks and implement control improvements.
  • Possess the ability to work accurately under pressure, managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Show strong stakeholder management capabilities, working closely with credit, coverage, compliance, legal, treasury, and product teams.
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance processes and automate manual activities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business requirements while ensuring operational accuracy.

Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline
  • Strong IT skills to extract and analyse a wide variety of reports
  • Understanding of trade finance products and lending products
  • Basic understanding of credit risk frameworks, exposure guidelines, and policy standards

Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of lending products such as Loan Against Marketable Securities (LAMs) and Short-Term Loans (STL)
  • Familiarity with regulatory circulars and updates
  • Experience in credit documentation preparation and execution processes

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
