Within this team, Manheim Auction Services (MAS) operates at the heart of the action—developing, sourcing, and connecting technologies to create a unified customer platform that delivers a single view of all assets.
We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Developer to guide our talented engineering team, deliver cutting-edge solutions, and help us push the boundaries of what’s possible in automotive technology.

What you’ll do
Provide technical leadership—mentoring engineers, setting standards, and leading by example in the code.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap.
Build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based solutions using .NET and AWS.
Oversee code reviews, ensure quality, and promote best practices in modern software engineering.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and introduce innovations into our development approach.
Drive delivery in an Agile environment—balancing speed, quality, and business value.
What you’ll bring
Strong background in .NET (preferably .NET 8), C#, and cloud-native development.
Experience leading engineering teams in Agile, product-focused environments.
Proven ability to design and deliver highly scalable, secure systems with privacy-by-design principles.
Expertise with AWS or Azure, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and event-driven systems.
Knowledge of front-end technologies like React and TypeScript, plus familiarity with GraphQL and micro-frontends.
Excellent communication skills—able to bridge technical and non-technical worlds.
