JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our Regulatory Operations team as a Quant Analytics Associate Sr and help shape the future of business intelligence and automation through leadership and technical expertise.

As a Quant Analytics Associate Sr within Regulatory Operations, you will be responsible for providing business intelligence through data analysis and optimizing processes through automation. You will develop a deep understanding of operational processes within the Regulatory Operations pillar and collaborate with subject matter experts and management to deliver impactful automation solutions. Your responsibilities include conducting ad-hoc data analysis to uncover new insights, leading simplification projects to enhance efficiency, and using data to craft compelling narratives for stakeholders. You will foster a collaborative team environment, continuously seek out new tools and skills to improve your work, and provide guidance to junior team members. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects and work with multiple organizations across Regulatory Operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of operational processes managed within the pillar and help uncover opportunities for data analysis and automation.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and management to deliver automation solutions from idea conception through implementation.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis focused on uncovering new business intelligence for our stakeholders that will optimize their day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and lead simplification projects to improve efficiency and productivity of business users through automation and self-service.
  • Provide exploratory questions, insights, and analysis to identify potential improvement opportunities.
  • Use data to tell compelling stories that will resonate with stakeholders and help them understand where opportunities exist.
  • Collaborate with team members and foster a strong team atmosphere.
  • Continually explore better tools to do your job and strengthen your skills.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates as needed

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Process Automation Experience: Demonstrated experience with process automation using tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, and other Business Intelligence tools.
  • Data Analysis Experience: Demonstrated experience conducting data analysis with the ability to tell compelling stories using data.
  • Technical Knowledge: 4+ years’ experience with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, SQL/PLSQL, SharePoint, Python, Snowflake, and familiarity with AI/ML concepts and building LLM prompts.
  • Critical Thinker: Ability to objectively analyze issues and form decisions.
  • Communication: Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and effectively communicate to all levels of management.
  • Attention to Detail: Acute attention to detail
  • Intellectually Curious Self-Starter: Operate in a self-directed manner with a strong desire to deliver superior results with urgency.
  • Analytical Rigor: Analytical thinker with superior data analysis and storytelling skills.
  • Leadership: Experience leading projects and providing guidance to junior team members.

This role is not remote or hybrid; 5 days a week in office.  This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
