We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Junior Test Analyst

  • Support test preparation by reviewing business and functional requirements to understand scope and regulatory/control impacts.
  • Help design, document and maintain test cases and scripts, ensuring full coverage and clear traceability to requirements and controls.
  • Assist in building test plans, including execution schedules, environments, and entry/exit criteria.
  • Execute system, functional and regression test cases, recording results accurately and consistently.
  • Log defects with clear, reproducible steps and data, and retest fixes once remediation is deployed.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date defect logs, participate in defect triage, and liaise with Technology to clarify issues.
  • Capture and file test evidence in line with governance standards so that testing is audit‑ready and fully version‑controlled.
  • Support UAT cycles by coordinating test execution with business users, answering queries, and consolidating UAT results and sign‑offs.
  • Contribute to validating control outputs, exception reports and regulatory reporting changes from a testing perspective.
  • Demonstrate methodical, process‑driven working style with strong organization, clear written communication and proactive escalation of risks or issues, especially against tight regulatory timelines.

To be successful you will:

  • Experience in testing / QA or change delivery within Financial Services, ideally 2–5 years or equivalent internship exposure.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and change lifecycle, including UAT support and release processes.
  • Hands‑on experience executing structured system, functional and regression test cases.
  • Proficient use of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, ALM, Zephyr or similar).
  • Disciplined defect lifecycle management – clear logging, classification, tracking and retesting of issues.
  • Ability to interpret business and functional requirements and translate them into test conditions and expected results.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline, with a focus on traceability and audit‑ready evidence.
  • Comfortable working with data sets, validating calculations and checking report outputs for accuracy.
  • Awareness of regulatory / control requirements and how they drive test coverage and evidencing.
  • Exposure to Global Markets or trading environments and associated front‑to‑back workflows (preferred but not essential).
