At OneAdvanced we deliver innovative IT solutions and support to a diverse portfolio of clients. Our mission is to empower businesses through technology, and we believe our people are the key to our success. We are seeking a strategic and people-focused People Manager to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our workforce.

As a People Partner, you will work closely with leaders across the organisation to deliver high quality, practical people support that drives real operational impact. This is a hands on role where your ability to influence, challenge constructively, and show strong professional presence will be essential to enabling better decisions and stronger business outcomes. You’ll be a trusted advisor, providing clear, pragmatic guidance across the full employee lifecycle.

Please note: This is a hybrid role based in our York office, with travel required to our other UK sites.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with leaders to understand their priorities and translate them into effective, people focused actions.

  • Confidently challenge and influence senior stakeholders, offering clear guidance, pushing back where needed, and helping steer decisions in the right direction.

  • Lead employee relations cases end-to-end, ensuring fair, consistent, and pragmatic outcomes.

  • Support organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.

  • Oversee performance management cycles, including objective setting, coaching, and development support.

  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law, internal policies, and all HR standards.

  • Support change initiatives, guiding leaders and employees through organisational and cultural shifts.

  • Act as a cultural ambassador, strengthening engagement and fostering a positive employee experience.

What You Will Have

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a partner or senior role.

  • Strong, hands on TUPE experience (essential).

  • A confident professional presence, able to operate credibly at senior and board-facing levels.

  • Proven ability to challenge constructively, influence decisions, and hold your ground when required.

  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and HRIS systems.

  • Strong communication, judgement, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

  • A practical, operational mindset focused on delivering meaningful impact.
