Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programming application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Application Developer, or in a related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Application Developer, or in a related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Java-based frameworks including Spring, Hibernate and OpenJPA; Cloud platforms such as AWS or Cloud Foundry; Using AWS services including Amazon EC2, Amazon S3 and AWS CloudWatch; Working with SQL databases including Postgres, Oracle, and Amazon Aurora; Using Redis for in-memory data storage and caching solution; Working with REST and GraphQL APIs and managing JSON data formats for data exchange; Version control systems including GIT; Using CI/CD tools including Jenkins; Building tools including Maven; Using Web technologies and standards such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Vue.js; Utilizing Elasticsearch and Kibana for search and visualization; Using Docker for containerization and Unix for system operations; Messaging systems such as Amazon SQS and RabbitMQ; Participating in Unit Testing using Junit, Manual Testing, Performance Testing, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing to ensure software quality.

Full-Time. Salary: $199,100 - $215,000 per year.
