We are seeking a Validation Data Analyst with strong technical and analytical skills to support the validation of data-driven systems and models. The role involves working closely with end users to understand validation feedback, analyzing data and model outputs, and identifying root causes of issues to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with end users, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand validation feedback and reported issues
Translate user feedback into clear analytical and data-driven problem statements
Analyze datasets, features, and model outputs to validate results and identify anomalies
Triage validation issues by assessing relevance, severity, and impact
Investigate data pipelines and models to determine root causes of errors or unexpected behavior
Document findings, assumptions, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner
Communicate insights and root-cause analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences
Support continuous improvement of validation processes, data quality checks, and monitoring frameworks
Strong data analysis skills using SQL, Python, or similar tools
Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets
Understanding of statistical or machine learning models (conceptual or applied)
Ability to diagnose data quality issues and model performance problems
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Effective communication skills, especially when working with non-technical end users
Experience with model validation, QA, or model risk management
Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, or data warehouses
Experience in financial services, analytics, or regulated environments
Knowledge of model monitoring, drift detection, or performance metrics
