DevOps Engineer

Redgate is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our platform technology team. As a key player in building the infrastructure platform for our products, you'll collaborate with our Solution Group Architect and engineering teams to define and build services that empower engineering teams to create secure, reliable applications. You’ll also take ownership of designing, automating, and maintaining our build and deployment processes, ensuring efficient and timely software delivery. Your expertise in AWS-based architectures will be instrumental in driving product velocity while ensuring safety, security, and reliability.

Over the next year, we’ll be evolving our engineering organisation to embrace a DevOps mindset and you’ll be at the forefront of enabling that change. As a DevOps engineer, you’ll work within an engineering team and bridge the gap between engineering and operations. You’ll empower the team to confidently release and deploy changes, monitor services in production and deal with failures through automation.  In addition, you will use your skills and experience to help implement DevOps practices across all of Engineering and drive the modernisation of our platform forward.

What makes you Redgate’s next DevOps Engineer?

  • You’ll be familiar with a cloud-first approach
  • You have strong experience in build engineering: managing CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting build failures, optimising workflows, and working with version control systems
  • You’ll understand how DevOps can support and improve development and operational work
  • You’ll have experience of working with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • You have a curiosity for new technologies and a thirst for automation, standardisation, continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • You’ll be familiar with what’s required to provision and manage infrastructure, ensuring it is reliable, scalable and secure
  • You want to work closely with the engineering teams to improve their velocity
  • Automating everything is second nature
  • You’re just as effective working remotely as in an office

What’s the package?

  • A great benefits package .
  • You’ll work about 40 hours a week, with flexible work time
