Securitas are seeking a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Identity & Access Management Specialist to support our corporate security credentialing operations. This role is responsible for processing employee and contractor badges, managing access permissions, maintaining credentialing systems, and providing exceptional service to internal clients.

You will work closely with HR, Facilities, Security, and onboarding teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant access provisioning across multiple systems.

Location: Freehold, NJ

$19.00 an hour

Shift days: Monday to Friday 

Time: 10:30am to 7:00pm 

Key Responsibilities:

Credentialing & Access Control

· Process and fulfill badge and access card requests for employees, contractors, and vendors.

· Retrieve, edit, and manage headshot photos and cardholder information.

· Create and update records in multiple credentialing and access control systems.

· Assign appropriate access levels and permissions based on role, clearance, and policy.

· Troubleshoot badge and access issues and resolve them promptly.

· Maintain strict quality control standards for all issued credentials.

Systems & Database Management

· Work within multiple databases and web portals, including:

o Credential request portals

o Smartsheet

o GNI-PDC

o Badge management systems

o Access control platforms such as CCure 9000, Genetec, Millennium Ultra, or Symmetry

· Maintain accurate documentation of all credentialing activities.

· Conduct daily, weekly, and quarterly audits of global or regional badging systems.

· Support system updates, enhancements, and process improvements.

Customer Service & Communication:

· Serve as the first point of contact for badge-related inquiries.

· Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, contractors, and internal departments.

· Provide guidance on access control policies and procedures.

· Support onboarding teams by preparing credentials for new hires.

· Train new staff on badging workflows and access control protocols.

Operational Support:

· Maintain inventory of badging supplies and equipment.

· Ensure compliance with all corporate security policies, practices, and procedures.

· Reprioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

· Remain calm and level-headed during incidents or emergency situations.

· Work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

· Proficiency with PCs, Google Workspace, MS Word, and Excel.

· Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.

· Ability to follow structured processes and written procedures.

· Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems.

· Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and customer-service orientation.

· Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

· Experience with access control or security systems preferred.
