We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Analyst, US Transfer Agency to join our our Fund and Investor Solutions team. This role is located in Westborough, MA or Boston, MA. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Working within an Agile environment, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Platform Leadership, and US Transfer Agency teams to understand and prioritize client system development requirements
  • Providing ongoing engineering and product support, addressing issues as they arise, and conducting analysis to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements
  • Conducting analysis to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Documenting and communicating business requirements 
  • Ensuring timely delivery of solutions in alignment with client priorities.
  • Facilitating meetings and discussions with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
  • Developing and executing test plans and coordinating all levels of testing 
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in Mutual Funds/ETFs/Alternatives/Digital Assets, is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and in facilitating Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes.
  • Internal and external client-facing experience is required.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $69,000 and $167,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. 


This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
