Function Description:

American Express – GS-GTLS MIS & Analytics has grown significantly in the last few years. It provides significant analytical and reporting support to GS-GTLS stakeholders in US and 23 international markets.

The successful candidate will be part of Reporting team within GS-GTLS MIS & Analytics team and will be primarily responsible for providing Global Reporting & Analytics support to drive business performance.

Key Skills

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Must be able to design dashboards using Tableau

·       Develop queries and procedures, create custom reports/dataset using SQL/Hive/Lumi

·       Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality

·       Team Player and ability to navigate through a matrix environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously without close supervision

·       Excellent communication skills, relationship building and influencing skills. Should work with global stakeholders

·       WFM knowledge is preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

·       Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems (MIS).

·       Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner.

·       Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency.

·       Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed.

·       Understand stakeholder’s problems and assist in troubleshooting.

·       Participate in cross-functional meetings.

·       Develops MIS documentation (SOP) to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance.

·       Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team.

·       Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness. Highlight risk, opportunities, and share actionable insights.

·       Candidate should have hands on experience of creating graphical user interface of reporting and dashboarding. Candidate will also leverage information using different tools such as Genesys, eWFM, Tableau, SQL/Hive/Lumi, Cornerstone to create dashboards and drive insights. Drive performance reporting automation.

·       Self-starter with ability to execute with minimal direction and strong attention to details
