.NET Developer

Required Skills:

·         Strong development experience with .NET framework using C# and related technologies ( LINQ, async/await, Generics etc)  in Microsoft Visual Studio (e.g., .NET Framework 4.x or .NET Core/.NET 6+);

·         Experience of Object-Relational Mapping  (ORM) frameworks ( e.g., nHibernate, Entity framework);

·         Experience with automated testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, and mocking libraries like Moq or RhinoMocks;

·         Proficient in SQL database development and optimization;

·         Experience with JavaScript front-end development for client-facing applications ( e.g., AJAX,  Angular, React.js);

·         Experience with application integration technologies and patterns ( e.g REST APIs) ;

·         Demonstrated experience applying configuration management best practices, including effective use of Git for source control (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, ADO), designing and maintaining automated build and deployment pipelines, and ensuring code quality through continuous integration and delivery;

·         Ability to quickly understand and work within complex application architectures;

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical issue resolution;

·         Good documentation skills for knowledge capture during transition;

·         Effective communication skills in a team setting.

Desired Skills:

·         Experience with cloud-hosted architectures, ideally in Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, Key Vault, and Azure SQL.

·         Familiarity with Dependency Injection (DI) principles and frameworks for building loosely coupled, testable, and maintainable applications in .NET

·         Background in supporting and maintaining client-facing business applications;

·         Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, standups, retrospectives);

·         Experience working in multi-disciplinary technical teams;

·         Experience of Atlassian tools (e.g. BitBucket, Bamboo, Jira, Confluence);

·         Knowledge of Integration testing  Toole ( e.g. Postman);

·         Knowledge of Authentication/Authorization tokenization (OAuth);
